Our Aircraft

Air Napier trains students using a Cessna 152 and Cessna 172 aircraft; these are recognised internationally including by the DGCA.

Instructors

Gary Peacock is the owner/operator of Air Napier as well as the Chief Pilot with many hours flying experience. Gary along with our other experienced instructors provide a high level of individual and class-based training.


Facilities

Air Napier is based at Hawke’s Bay Airport which is a medium-sized, busy commercial airport serving the Hawke’s Bay region in New Zealand.
Students studying at Air Napier have use of the classrooms located at the
Hawke's Bay airport.


Weather

With over 1300 sunshine hours per year, Hawke's Bay has arguably the best weather in New Zealand. Warm, balmy days in summer and crisp fresh days in winter with plenty of blue skies and mild temperatures are the norm.
